CELEBRATING OUR 10TH ANNIVERSARY
We are proud to have been able to present our fine evening chamber concert
series with free will offering for ten consecutive years. To honor the
occasion, we have prepared a special CD of many treasured performances
recorded throughout the years, including those by top Philadelphia artists-
Philadelphia Orchestra principal clarinetist Ricardo Morales, the Wister
String Quartet, soprano Janice Fiore, piccoloist Lois Bliss Herbine, harpist
Sophie Bruno Labiner, and organists Michael Stairs and Nathan Laube. “Illuminations”
is now available for purchase through DTR/Direct-to-Tape Recordings.

10th Anniversary Season opening concert
Cellist Lloyd Smith took part in the benchmark recording of the
Martinu Trio, frequently broadcast on radio since its 1990 release,
as well as commissioned Katherine Hoover’s notable “Lyric
Trio” in 1983. These works will open and close our program
which includes a cello solo by Vaughn Williams and the world premiere
of a piccolo sonata composed for Lois Herbine by Philadelphia composer
Joseph Hallman. There is no admission charge, although donations
are gratefully accepted. A special celebratory reception will follow.
