The Deacons College Revolving Fund

The College Revolving Fund, sponsored by the Board of Deacons, was originally established in the 1960s and provides interest-free loans to promote educational opportunities to members of Carmel. The availability of this fund has recently been extended to non-members who are active in various church-sponsored groups upon recommendation of the group leaders, with final approval by the Board of Deacons.

This interest-free loan is available to full and part-time students who meet the criteria stated in the College Revolving Fund Guidelines. Full-time students may be eligible for up to $1000.00 per year with a maximum of $4000.00. Part-time and graduate students may be eligible for up to $500.00 per year with a maximum of $1000.00. Repayment is to begin upon graduation or termination of enrollment. Proof of registration is required before release of payment according to the College Revolving Fund Guidelines.

Review of applications is ongoing and approval is determined by the availability of funds and the applicant’s information. Granting of this loan is not based on financial need.
